The Associazione Scientifica Biologi Senza Frontiere (ASBSF) of Cosenza – Calabria (Italy) aims to promote human and environmental well-being through actions aimed at the prevention of human pathologies and behavior at risk of contamination. To do so, it collaborates with public and private institutions, making people of all ages aware of respect for health, including organizing information events. Every year participates in the days dedicated to good nutrition. This year, the ASBSF Association considered it appropriate to share the Fame Zero goal organized by FAO, starting from the assumption that only unity is strength. The event was organized on the World Food Day – 16 October 2018. The speakers wanted to share the free material made available by FAO on the website http://www.fao.org. to familiarize young people with images dedicated to the theme. The event was aimed at schools and concerned the correct nutrition associated with a healthy lifestyle, the invitation to change simple daily actions, the right choice and the origin of the food to be purchased, diseases related to a bad relationship with food.
We attach the premise of the information event set with the images taken from the Activity Book on World Food Day 2018.
